Sales Contract/Health Guarantee
Medical Conditions Covered by this Guarantee
I guarantee your pup against the following Hereditary Debilitating Health Diseases found within one
year of the date of birth with a certified veterinary check. Health diseases covered would be: Hereditary Liver shunt,
Hereditary Heart disease, Hereditary Crippling Malformation of the Hip Joint ONLY. These medical conditions must be
debilitating and affect quality of life in order for the guarantee to be valid. The hip guarantee shall be null and void if any of the following conditions apply: Your puppy is determined
to have been overweight at any time, not de-sexed at appropriate age, involved in a serious fall, been hit by a car, allowed
to go up and down stairs in excess prior to one year of age, or physically injured.
Verification of said health disease must be presented with a certified veterinary report. Buyer agrees
that if said pup has been certified to have one of the above mentioned hereditary diseases or sickness, breeder will be given
the opportunity to have the puppy checked by her own vet. If both veterinarians agree that said pup has one of the above-mentioned
diseases or sickness a replacement pup will be given to the buyer once said pup is returned. If no puppies are available
at that time, buyer understands he/she will have to wait until one becomes available. Buyer understands that a cash
refund will not be given. If the puppy is returned, buyer understands that all registration, vaccination and veterinary
medical records must be present for guarantee to be valid. Buyer understands that breeder will have no financial responsibility
for any testing, medication, vet visits, surgery or any other medical costs involved with the treatment of this puppy.
Medical
Conditions Not Covered by this Guarantee
As a responsible breeder I take pride in the health and condition of my puppies. I do everything in my power
to ensure that the puppy you take home today is free of any sickness or disease. However, a breeder cannot guarantee
that any puppy you buy will be problem free. Because environmental factors can play a part in a dog’s health,
you as the buyer understand that the breeder will not be responsible for any other condition that the pup may have or develop
during its life cycle. Examples of conditions not guaranteed are and not limited to: internal or external parasites,
ear mites, ear infections, all types of hernias, kennel cough, allergies, immune deficiencies, epilepsy or seizures, muscle
conditions, stomach or bowel problems, reactions to vaccination, etc. Purchaser takes full financial responsibility
for the treatment of these types of conditions.
All vaccinated medical conditions such as Parvovirus and Distemper are not covered under this guarantee because the
puppies are given their first vaccination before leaving the breeder’s home, and it the buyer’s responsibility
to continue a vaccination schedule after puppy has been taken from the breeder’s home.
Buyer agrees to provide the following care for the puppy
1. Safe housing
2. Daily food and water (a good quality dog food during its life cycle. I recommend Puppy food for Small Breeds
formula. )
3. All Vaccinations as recommended by buyer’s veterinarian.
4. Until all required vaccinations are complete; will not take puppy to public places such as pet stores, public
parks, schools or any place where the puppy can become exposed to sickness or disease.
5. Appropriate puppy/dog toys
6. Exercise
7. Loving home
Buyer
also agrees that should it become necessary to find this puppy a new home, breeder will be given first opportunity to take
the puppy back. Buyer agrees never to let this puppy go to an animal shelter, rescue, or humane society without offering
the puppy back to the breeder first. Buyer understands
and agrees that once the puppy is taken from the breeder NO cash refunds will be given for any reason at any time. Buyer
also understands that there is no exchange policy, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please consider carefully before making this
commitment.
